Chose to rise above…

6 years ago today was my daughters last day of therapy for her eyes. She used to get bullied from kids at the school all the time and she learned how to stick up for herself and speak her mind which also turned into sticking up for others when they are being picked on.

She has grown to be tough because of what she went through and after a year of therapy, she no longer has the eye muscle development issues. This experience has also taught her how to have good friendships that are real and not superficial and friends that are caring. Thats all i could have asked for as a mom. She has used all those experiences and CHOSE to rise above.<3

If my then 8 year old could figure that out, I am sure adults could too if they let their pride, judgment, and having to be right all the time get out of the way.
